✅ Shopping Tips
These are some tips to approach Black Friday this year - shop smart without overbuying:
Make a short wishlist. My list includes a new pair of running shoes, some cycling jerseys, and maybe an updated tri-suit.
Prioritize essentials and upgrades. If it’s foundational (e.g. shoes, wetsuit, bike maintenance gear), grab it. If it’s a “nice-to-have” upgrade (aero helmet, high-end race gear), decide only if it fits your budget and training plan.
Check fit and functionality — not just price. For gear like wetsuits, shoes, or helmets — sizing and fit matter more than price percent off.
Watch return windows. With holiday deals, sizing or return policies can be stricter. Buy early, try quickly, and don’t close the door on returns.
Balance gear with training needs. A sale is tempting — but gear won’t replace consistent training. Use sales to fill real needs, not gear up just because it’s discounted.
Shop smart, train smart — and get ready to crush the season ahead!
